Lifeguard

Responsibilities:

Lifeguards – Execute pool opening and closing procedures. Perform duties which include pools supervision and supervising the main pool (Lifeguard), general cleaning of grounds and areas, and maintaining an orderly and safe pool and pool deck.

Requirements:

Minimum age of 16 as of pool opening on May 1, 2023.

Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certifications.  WGHOA will reimburse American Red Cross Lifeguard Training after employee has worked 40 hours as a lifeguard at Encore Pool.

Gate Attendant

Responsibilities:

Gate Attendant – Execute Pool opening and closing procedures. Perform duties which include check-in, general cleaning of pool deck and pool grounds and restrooms. Man and maintain the snack shack.

Requirements:

Minimum age of 14 as of pool opening on May 1, 2023.

Must Pass a Math Test and Computer Membership test. 

Swim Instructor

Responsibilities:

Swim Instructor – Under the direction of the Swim Lesson Coordinator and per our swim lesson plans, provide swim instruction to children of varying levels and experience.

Requirements:

Minimum age of 16 (Lifeguard Preferred)

previous employee of WGHOA – Encore Pool with previous swim instructor experience, enjoy working with kids of all ages

Current Red Cross CPR and First Aid training
